Eduact successfully celebrated Astronomy Day on April 22, 2026, through a special event organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ project “STEM with Art”!
Students, educators, and space enthusiasts came together at Eduact in Thessaloniki to explore how science, robotics, and art can creatively interact, making complex space concepts more accessible through hands-on educational experiences.

The student team BEAM AUTH (Beyond Earth Aristotle Missions) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki joined the event, showcasing equipment and conducting live demonstrations and experiments related to space technology, offering participants an interactive and inspiring experience.
Participants also had the opportunity to learn about Project ASTRO (Aristotle Student Telescope for Radio Astronomy Observations), BEAM’s ambitious initiative to build the first student radio telescope in Greece in collaboration with the AUTh Observatory.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and made this event such a memorable celebration of astronomy, innovation, and creativity! 🌠🛰️
